AnnotationData connects domain experts with AI training and annotation work. Here’s how to get from signup to your first task.
1. Sign up and verify your email. Create an account with your email and complete any email verification we send. You’ll use this to sign in and receive notifications.
2. Complete your profile. Add your full name, country (US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand), LinkedIn URL, academic or professional background, and the categories you’re interested in (math, physics, biology, finance, coding, law, medicine, or general). The more accurate your profile, the better we can match you with tasks.
3. Pass the qualification. We’ll ask you to complete a short assessment in your chosen categories. Our team reviews your submission—typically within 3–5 business days. If you pass, we’ll move you to the identity verification (KYC) step.
4. Complete identity verification. Request a verification link from the platform; we’ll send it to your email. Use it to complete KYC with our partner (e.g. Persona). The link expires in 1 hour, so use it promptly. Once we confirm your verification, you’ll get access to the dashboard.
5. Start working. From the dashboard you can browse available tasks, accept work that fits your schedule, and request withdrawals when you’re ready. Pay varies by category and quality—expert tasks often range from $40 to $150 per hour.
