AnnotationData offers tasks across multiple categories: Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Finance, Coding, Law, Medicine, and General. Here’s how to choose wisely and position yourself for better pay.
Match your expertise. Select categories where you have real knowledge—from a degree, job, or serious hobby. Tasks are designed for experts; quality matters and affects your long-term opportunities. Don’t select categories you’re unsure about just to see more tasks.
Rates vary by category. Expert tasks in specialized areas (e.g. certain STEM or finance tasks) often pay toward the higher end of our range ($40–$150+ per hour). General or survey-style tasks may start lower. Your accuracy and consistency can lead to more high-paying work over time.
You can select multiple categories. If you’re strong in more than one area, select all that apply. You’ll see tasks across your chosen categories and can pick what fits your schedule.
Quality over quantity. Doing a smaller number of tasks well is better than rushing. Our system tracks quality; annotators who deliver consistently accurate work get access to more and sometimes higher-paying tasks.
